Neuromotorics

Neuromotorics/Neuropsychology – the first step in our work with most children. We focus on skills necessary for self-regulation and the beginning of communication, gradually moving from nonverbal to verbal interaction.
Individual exercises and activities to strengthen motor skills, coordination, and balance. Supports the development of brain functions responsible for hearing, speech, and self-control.

Meet the team

I enjoy facing challenges and seeing the results of what I do. And because Neuromotorics form the foundation for a child’s development and growth, I want every child I work with to be able to live a full life in the future and achieve success in everything they do.

At the beginning, I simply wanted to serve God. But once I started working with children with special needs, I saw how much they truly needed us. When I witnessed the first results of our work, it inspired me to continue working with them.
I truly enjoy helping children develop independence. Through Neuromotorics, we help children build a strong sense of body awareness and physical well-being, and over time I began to notice growing independence in them—something these children need so deeply.

I came to ICAN following my heart. I came to ICAN following my heart. It is important to me to be close to those who need care and support the most. I truly believe that every child deserves a chance at a full and meaningful life. In my work, I try to give not only my time and energy, but also my heart.
What is most valuable to me is seeing the results — how children become calmer and more confident, how they succeed at things that once felt difficult. Their small steps are our great victories. This calling brings me deep inner fulfillment, because I feel that I am exactly where I am meant to be, doing work that truly matters.

Before I began serving with ICAN, the ICAN team first served us. At that time, I was searching for a place where I could serve as well, being in a situation like mine, and I was praying about it. Then, at one point, Olenka asked me if I would like to join the team — and suddenly all the pieces fell into place 🙂
I am part of this team because here I feel that I am in the right place, fulfilled, and deeply supported. I am here because I am confident that this was God’s answer to my prayers 🙂

Inside Our Lessons

Neuromotorics helps a child build a strong connection between the brain and the body. When a child learns to move better—to turn, crawl, step, keep balance, and use their hands—the brain begins to work in a more coordinated way. This helps the child gain better control over their body.
The child starts to understand how to move and in what sequence. Movements become less chaotic; control and confidence appear, and tension in the body decreases. Thinking improves. Speech improves. Learning becomes easier. This is why Neuromotorics is the foundation.
First, the body learns to move correctly, and on this foundation, thinking, speech, and learning are built.
